Vice President Jing Xuwen Leads a Delegation to Visit the University of Strathclyde.

From May 19 to May 24, the delegation, led by vice President Jing Xuwen ofJUST, visited the University of Strathclyde in the UK. During the visit, thetwo universities fully exchanged information on each other’s educationalhistory, the schooling management and the current staff /research. The twoparties have reached a preliminary consensus in the "2 + 2"undergraduate cooperation model, “1 + 1.5” graduate cooperation model, short-term graduate student exchanges,teacher short-term visits, recommendation of graduate students or teachers fordoctoral candidateship, and visit mechanism for research and academic exchangesbetween the two universities.

 During the visit, the delegationalso visited the University of Strathclyde and its laboratory of Shipbuildingand Turbine Engineering, meeting with the JUST staff and students who arestudying there as academic visitors, as master’s or doctoral degrees.  (YangXingmin; Xiao Min)
