The School of Energy and Power Engineering of JUST visits two universities in Ukraine and Russia

From 6th July to15th July, a delegation from the School of Energy and Power Engineering of JUSTpaid a visit to Makarov State Shipbuilding University in Ukraine and ModowigaRepublics Auogoleif University in Russia. During the tight scheduled visit,Professor Yang Xinglin, Dean of School of Energy and Power Engineering,Professor Chen Ning and Ma Zheshu, conducted an academic exchange with severalprofessors of Makarov State Shipbuilding University. They conducted a closeresearch of techniques, financial feasibility and experimental devices of threeprojects —— Solar Hydrogen, Separator Device of Gas and Water, Pyrolysis ofwaste recycling and discussed further cooperation plans. In Modowiga RepublicsAuogoleif University, they got a deep understanding of pulse heat exchanger andcooling technology and discussed heat efficiency enhancement by applyingengines used in ships and the feasibility of using extra heat.

Modowiya Republics Auogoleif University is oneof the 29 research institutes in the Russian Federation and enjoys considerableacademic strength among universities in Russia. It was the first visit paid byour university to the Russian university. The delegation was warmly received bythe president and colleges concerned. During the talk, they suggested  establishing academic exchange mechanism and highlightedmutual visits among teachers and students between the two universities.
