On June 27, the First InternationalSymposium regarding Emerging Information Technology Management was held in theSchool of Economics and Management (SEM) of JUST. Prof. Xuxin, Dr.Liude andDr.Jiang Zhenhui were invited as guest speakers to make lectures. Prof.Suxiang, dean of SEM gave an inaugural address at the opening ceremony.

Three keynote lectures have been made atthe symposium, respectively including IntelligentLearning Theory and Practice Research, Beyondconsumption: Do social network friends turn you into reviews? and Impacts ofproduct display formats and shopping motivation on consumers’ online productsearch. After reporting, the experts had an in-depth academic communicationwith the school faculty and students.

Prof Xuxin, the vice-dean of the schoolof Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, was the winner of 2012National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and was selected as the ChangjiangScholar in 2015. Dr. Liude is the vice professor and doctoral supervisor ofUniversity of Minnesota. Also, Dr. Jiang Zhenhui is the vice professor anddoctoral supervisor of National University of Singapore.
