Zhenjiang, November 7 (JUST) — Representative ofCity, University of London (City) , Dr. VeselinRakocevic who is the Head of Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, paida visit to JUST. Staff of the International Office and the School ofElectronics and Information Engineering met with the guests and had thediscussion on the renewal of the educational cooperation between JUST and City.

During the meeting, both sides expressedthe willing to renew and further promote the educational cooperation betweenthe two universities in the field of Electricaland Electronic Engineering (JUST Specialty Title:Electronic Information Engineering). After studying and comparing the coursedescriptions, modules and curricula of both universities in this field,participants of the meeting reached a preliminary consensus on the basicmatching of the courses. Both sides agreed that it is very likely for the twouniversities to articulate the courses with advanced standing for JUSTstudents.

Within the meeting, JUSTrepresentatives also brought up the proposal to upgrade the model ofcooperation between the two universities from interuniversity program to jointeducation program which is to be approved by the MOEC. Dr. VeselinRakocevic showed interest in this proposal and was willing to forward it to theCity authority and helps with its promotion.
