Recruitment of High-level Talents with Overseas Experience

Qualifications

ⅠPositions open to: Academic leaders, doctoral degree holders and post-doctoral researchers

Ⅱ Minimum Qualifications:

1 High scientific morality, excellent style of study, honesty and trustworthiness, willing to serve the country.

2 Solid theoretical foundation, ability to teach main courses in the discipline.

3 Excellent communication skills and team spirit.

4 Willing to work full-time in the University and transfer labor-personnel relation to the University.

5 Currently working overseas or came back to China less than 1 year ago

6 Chinese nationality.

Ⅲ Specialized Qualifications

1 Academic leaders

(1) At least 4 consecutive years of overseas teaching and scientific research experience following the completion of the Ph.D. Having an assistant professor or above position, or other corresponding positions abroad.

(2) Having influential work and academic reputation in the discipline.

(3) Ability to lead the team to perform scientific researches in the academic foreland.

(4) Ability to conduct academic exchanges and teach specialized courses in foreign languages.

(5) Under the age of 45.

2 Doctoral degree holders and post-doctoral researchers

(1) An earned doctoral degree in overseas high-level universities(research institutions)/more than 2 consecutive years of research experience as a overseas post-doctoral researcher after earning a doctoral degree in domestic key universities(research institutions). Doctoral major should be similar to bachelor and master majors.

(2) Strong scientific research ability. More than 2 high-quality papers published on core journals as the first author over the past 3 years (on SCI, EI, SSCI, A&HCI).

(3) Ability to conduct academic exchanges and teach specialized courses in foreign languages.

(4) Under the age of 35 (applicants under the age of 40 but with an associate professor position or post-doctoral experience will also be considered).

Salary and Benefits

ⅠFor Academic leaders

1 Talents with an overseas associate professor or above position enjoy the same salary and benefits as that of the University’s professors. In addition, the University provides other benefits as follows: (1) 500,000 RMB house purchase subsidy and settling-in allowance (will be provided when purchasing your own house or apartment); (2) scientific research allowance (majors of Science and Engineering:1,000,000—2,000,000 RMB; other majors: 200,000—300,000 RMB); (3) the same performance-based allowance as that of the University’s level-4 or above professors; (4) 100,000 RMB annual talent allowance

2 Talents will have their own offices (laboratories) and the privilege to assemble necessary academic team.

3 Talents will enjoy the priority to apply for Senior Professional titles

ⅡFor Doctoral degree holders and post-doctoral researchers

1 Before obtaining an associate professor or above position, the talents could enjoy the same salary and benefits as that of the University’s associate professors. In addition, the University provides other benefits as follows: (1) house purchase subsidy and settling-in allowance (for talents in majors of Science and Engineering:250,000—300,000 RMB; for talents in other majors:250,000 RMB); (2) scientific research allowance (for talents in majors of Science and Engineering:200,000—500,000 RMB; for talents in other majors: 100,000—200,000 RMB); (3) the same performance-based allowance as that of the University’s level-1 associate professors (B).

2 Talents will enjoy the priority to apply for corresponding professional titles.

2 Preliminary review by Personnel Department.

3 Interview and examination by schools concerned, the result of which will be sent to Personnel Department for approval.

5Final evaluation by the University.
